Women Preachers

The church today is forsaking God's commandments towards women. Although we are the same from a salvation point of view, there are clearly different roles between male and female in the Bible. Women should not be preachers or teachers over men.

1 Corinthians 14:
34	Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
35	And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
36	What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?
37	If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
38	But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

This is a commandment from God and not because of talkative or chatty women in Corinth.

1 Timothy 2:
11	Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12	But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

God has standards for pastors.

1 Timothy 3:
2	A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

God intends for the pastors to be men. When women preach to men, teach men or lead music in a church it is wrong. It is not appropriate for women to be deacons. Men were called to be the leaders. If the men in the church would do their part today, there would not be room for women to take on an improper role. It's time for men to fulfill their calling.
